BHS Girl’s Soccer Team
Practice for the 2011 season begins on March 14th at Woodveiw Elementary School at 4:30 p.m. We will be moving to the Middle School Gym beginning on Thursday, March 17th. Due to the continued cold weather and snow we will probably be inside the gym for at least the first week. We will move outside as soon as weather and field conditions allow.
The coaching staff is very excited about the continued growth in the program this year. Currently there are 40 athletes signed up for soccer this spring. This is a record number for participation. Our current schedule will provide for a full season of JV matches along with the Varsity matches. Our first match will be away at Hastings on March 28th. We look forward to the continued improvement in the quality of our program both this year and in the future.
The prior coaching staff is returning,with Blaine Kemme – Varsity Coach, John Granzo – Junior Varsity Coach, and Nicole Despres – Assistant Coach. We are very pleased that Coach Despres is able to help our program again this season. We look forward to the additional support and instruction she can provide to team members.
