How long do we rehearse?

We rehearse every Monday through Friday. Also, there will be no Wednesday rehearsals. For the musical, we have several Saturday rehearsals that last eight hours. They are to help us keep up with the choreography and singing.

What is the difference between a regular play and a musical?

The difference is the fact that a regular play does not have singing and dancing such as a musical does. In addition, a regular play may be shorter and typically has a smaller cast.

What are auditions like?

Students will be expected to do a number of things to try-out for a part. This involves reading lines, singing, dancing, performing character actions, or simply introducing oneself.

How can I get involved in drama?

You can become a member of our drama club, which requires a five dollar fee. This fee goes toward our Academy Awards Night. As a drama club member, you may be involved with ushering, make-up, set construction, ticket sales, etc. If you are interested in performing, you may try-out for any of our productions. Try-outs will be in September for the fall play, and December for the winter play.
