The Belding girls varsity basketball team finished their regular season on February 26 with a 56-18 win over Grand Rapids Central. Belding finished in a tie for third place in the OK Blue with a 9-5 record. The teams overall season record was 13-7. Ellis Elementary held a Hat Day to raise funds for victims of the earthquake in Chile on Friday, March 5. Most of the Ellis students and staff wore their favorite hat. Ellis students and staff raised $206.16! The money has been donated to the American Red Cross to assist their relief efforts in Chile.
