Belding Honors Staff Members of the Year

Congratulations to the first annual “Staff of the Year” award recipients and nominees. On June 6 Belding Area Schools recognized outstanding staff members nominated by their peers who demonstrate loyalty, commitment, positive human relations skills, and excellent organizational skills as they relate to the overall positive educational climate of the district and our community.

The recipients of the 2008 “Staff of the Year” awards were:
* Peg Berg “Secondary Staff of the Year”
* Norrie Slater, “Elementary Staff of the Year”
* Tami Tefft “Support Staff of the Year”

These recipients were selected from a group of very deserving staff members. Support staff nominees were Janel Bryant, Venus Cox, Deb Davey, Robert Doty, Carol Jones, Brian Loper, Sandy Ontswedder, Rachelle Ostander, and Lisa Sower. Secondary staff nominees included Alisha Harrell, Terry Johnson, Mike Nelson, and Shannon Nevills. Elementary staff nominees were Mark Dombroske, Carolyn Garlick, Susi Meagher, and Jan Mehney. Belding Area Schools is proud to honor the leadership and work ethic demonstrated by these individuals.
