High School Meijer Dignity and Respect Award Winners

Each month, Belding High School teachers nominate students to receive the Meijer Dignity and Respect Award. The nominees are selected because they have the following qualities:
* Positive treatment of other people: peers, teachers and staff
* Friendliness: greets others, smiles, pleasant to be around
* Helpfulness: willing to lend a hand to others
* Promotes teamwork
* A role model for others
The winner for the month of September was Maryrose Jakeway. She is pictured below with nominating teacher, teacher Lisa Immink and Jim Garnder, the Greenville Meijer store director.
The 2007-2008 winnder was Amanda Hamilton.
