Early Childhood Center Programs

Through developmentally appropriate experiences, children are encouraged to reach their full potential. A safe and nurturing environment that builds self-esteem and positive social interactions is provided. Positive home/school relationships are enhanced through open communication with parents.

Early Childhood Developmental Delays

ECDD is a preschool program for children ages 2½ to 6 years with demonstrated delays in speech and language development, learning, behavior, coordination, vision or hearing. Contact Maureen McDorough, Special Education Coordinator, at (616) 794-4724, with concerns about your child’s development.

Jump Start

Jump Start is a Michigan School Readiness Program for qualifying families living in the Belding Area School District. There is no charge to attend. Bussing is provided. Child must be 4 years old by December 1.

Free and Tuition-Based PreSchool

Belding Early Childhood Center offers preschool for both 3 year old and 4 year old children. Each program is designed to assist the child in social, mental, physical and emotional development. Child must be 3 or 4 years old by December 1.
