PTO Goals for the Belding Elementary Schools
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community.
- To celebrate the advantages of supportive families working with supportive schools.
- To provide our Ellis and Woodview children with extra facilities and experiences.
- To actively promote a close working relationship between home and school and cooperation in the training of our children.
How PTO Supports These Goals
Volunteering
- Sponsors and staffs Fall Festival; Spring Carnival; Daddy/Daughter Dance; Mother/Son Night; Field Day
- Staffs school activities: Mobile Dentist; picture day; Scholastic Book Fair; School Improvement Team
- Makes dinner for staff during conference week
Financial
- Cost of busing for two class field trips per grade
- All assemblies
- March is Reading Month activities
- Student of the Month lunch
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- Field trip admission costs of children who cannot afford them
- Lunch for Field Day for all children
- Extra supplies for classroom teachers
