Doug Anderson is a 1980 graduate of Belding Area Schools. After graduation he choose a career as a PGA Professional and moved out to Pheonix Arizona where he worked as an intern at Hill Crest Golf Course for three years. He became associate head professional in his third year and was promoted to head golf professional at Sun City Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was promoted to director of golf at this 54 hole facility and worked there until 1997. The oppourtunity to come back to Michigan presented itself when Ridgeview Golf Course came up for sale. He is the current owner of Ridgeview and his goal is to provide a unique, high quality golf experience for all golfers. He has been coaching golf at Belding for 10 years; four years as assistant and six years as head coach.
