April Chernoby has been a teacher at Belding Middle School since 2005. During that time she has taught both U.S. History and Geography. Ms. Chernoby graduated from Grand Valley State University with a double major in History and Social Studies. In the classroom, she enjoys sharing travel tales and showing students the world treasures she has gathered. She has extensive international experience having toured four continents, studied at the American University in Cairo, and worked on projects in Jordan and China. Her favorite intellectual pursuits include cultural studies, politics, and global issues. Her hidden passions include adventure sports, collecting old books, and getting mail from the U.S. Postal Service.
