Mrs. April Simmons currently teaches 4th grade at Woodview Elementary. Mrs. Simmons starting teaching in the Belding Area Schools in 2001. She graduated from Aquinas College in 2000 with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics with a minor in K-12 reading. Mrs. Simmons has a great passion for math and currently serves on the district math committee as well as serving as a co-chair on Woodview’s School Excellence Team. Mrs. Simmons is married to Mike Simmons, a current 5th grade teacher, and has two sons and one daughter. She enjoys creating scrapbooks, working with the children at the church she attends, and spending quality time with family and friends.
