Jayne Johnson graduated from Central Michigan University in 1977 and began teaching first graders in Orleans later that year. She has also taught kindergarteners, first, and second graders at Hallpark and Ellis Elementaries before moving to Woodview Elementary. She currently teaches fourth graders and enjoys teaming with Jan Mehney. Helping students at any grade level “get” something that has been giving them trouble is a real joy for her. When not at school, Ms. Johnson spends time reading, golfing, swimming, traveling, and playing flute in the Danish Festival Band.
