Mr. Olson earned a bachelor of arts degree from Cornerstone University and a masters degree in educational leadership from Western Michigan University. Mr. Olson began his career in Belding as the health teacher at Belding Middle School in 2001. In addition to teaching, Mr. Olson enjoyed coaching middle school track and organizing “All Kids Play” after school. Mr. Olson joined the high school staff in the fall of 2007 where he served as assistant principal for two years. Mr. Olson in excited to be at Belding Middle School to serve as principal. He is honored and privileged to serve the students, staff and community of Belding. Mr. Olson and his wife Alyssa have three children, Grace, Alex, and Alaina.
