Kari Reynolds is a teacher for Belding Area Schools. Mrs. Reynolds works at Woodview Elementary. She has lived in West Michigan her entire life. She graduated from Sparta High School before attending Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. She majored in English and minored in elementary education while at GVSU. She graduated in 2001 and began her teaching career here in Belding that year. Because of her love of writing, Mrs. Reynolds chose to leave her 5th grade classroom at the end of the 2006/2007 school year to become the district writing coach. She loves to watch as students develop their stories and grow as writers. She now finds it interesting to watch as students progress throughout the year and from grade level to grade level. Mrs. Reynolds is also the co-director of the Lake Michigan Writing Project at Grand Valley State University. She spends her summers writing and working with other teachers.
