Lu Pendleton is the music/art/technology teacher at Woodview Elementary and assists the band program at Belding High School. Lu holds a bachelor of science degree in music education from Western Connecticut University. She has continued her education at VanderCook College of Music, Central Michigan and Spring Arbor University. She plays the clarinet in the Danish Band and is also one of the directors. She also plays with the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band. Lu and her husband Brian have two children, Karl and Megan, both Belding graduates. They enjoy being at home on their farm, where they raise a herd of registered Angus cattle.
