Marcia Rea has been teaching in the Belding School District since 1987. She is a graduate from Central Michigan University, majoring in Child Development and minoring in English. She has taught Kindergarten, a 1st/2nd grade Multiage classroom, and is now teaching her favorite…1st grade, at Ellis Elementary. Before coming to Belding she taught 2nd grade for ten years in the DeWitt school system. She never tires of helping 1st graders learn how to read and gain writing skills and loves the enthusiasm they share for school. No two days have ever been remotely the same. Every day is a new challenge, learning experience, and time of growth. There is no other career that she would rather have. Her favorite quote is, “Believe in miracles! They happen in your classroom every day!”
