Mrs. Leslie J. Mount earned a bachelor of science degree from Grand Valley State University (GVSU) with a major in history and a political science minor. She also earned a master’s degree from GVSU in educational leadership. Mrs. Mount completed her specialist degree in educational leadership at Grand Valley during the winter 2008 semester. Previous to being assistant superintendent, Mrs. Mount taught social studies at Belding High School for seven years. Mrs. Mount and her husband Steve have a daughter, Peyton, who attends Belding Middle School. Mrs. Mount looks forward to continuing to work with staff, students and the community to provide top-notch educational opportunities in the Belding district.
