Mrs. Olga Albert teaches sixth through eighth grades at Belding Middle School. She assists students who need extra help in reading, writing and/or mathematics. Mrs. Albert also teaches service learning classes. Service learning blends core curriculum with service in the community.
Mrs. Albert graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with majors in language arts and science. She earned credits beyond a B.A. at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University. She is involved in the community through St. Joseph’s Church, Ionia County Literacy, Ionia County 4H, Second Harvest Gleaners and Delta Kappa Gamma.
She began teaching at the elementary level in Belding. She has worked with students from the kindergarten level to adult. Along with teaching at the middle school, she is currently involved in developing professional development materials in the area of service learning.
