Kay Swanson is a paraprofessional for the ASD program with the Ionia County Intermediate School District. This is her first year at the Belding High School, and she has been with the ISD for 12 years. Kay and her husband Jeff, have been married for 25 years and have two children. Amy Jo, a 2003 BHS graduate, graduated from Penn State with a BS in meteorology and works at NASA Langley Research Center. Justin, a 2007 BHS graduate, is currently attending GRCC. Kay’s interests include gardening and wood carving.
