 IONIA, MI, MARCH 8, 2017 — The American Red Cross of West Michigan, at the request of local Emergency Management and in response to the extensive power outages in Ionia County, will be opening a shelter for those community members who would like to relocate to a facility with power for the night.  The shelter will open at 8:30PM and will be located at Ionia Armory Community Center, 439 W. Main Street. Ionia, MI.  The Red Cross will provide emotional support, cots, blankets and food to those individuals impacted by this unfortunate weather disaster.
